Schroders Capital has completed the acquisition of Dutch real estate fund and asset management business Cairn Real Estate. Schroders Capital announced it had reached an agreement to acquire Cairn Real Estate. The deal expands Schroders Capital’s client offering in what it called “a key European growth market”, giving it access to Dutch real estate expertise to meet growing demand from institutional investors. The Cairn Real Estate team manages assets on behalf of institutional, family office and private equity investors across the risk spectrum.
The firm, which has assets under management of €1.3 billion, is headquartered in Amsterdam, with a satellite office in Haarlem.
