OneConnect Financial Technology has launched an all-in-one digital banking solution, OneCosmo. The solution has been jointly developed with Brazil-based fintech Pismo, with which OneConnect entered a strategic partnership. The platform leverages artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML) and blockchain to form a “highly scalable” and integrated solution for banks and fintechs looking to build digital banking capabilities. OneCosmo offers digital identity verification, core banking, digital payments and digital lending capabilities and allows for integration with third-party services thanks to “highly flexible” APIs and microservices.
The platform will also enable financial institutions to leverage real-time data streaming, allowing for greater insight into consumer behavior through data analysis. OneCosmo is currently available in Southeast Asian countries including Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, The Philippines, and Singapore, with a view to expanding to the Middle East.
