Allianz Partners has teamed up with banking services app developer Revolut to provide travel insurance benefits to Revolut users in 31 countries. From April, Revolut users with Premium and Metal accounts in 31 markets across the UK and European Economic Area (EEA) now have access to a range of Allianz-provided comprehensive travel protection via the Revolut app. Coverage includes protection for overseas medical emergencies and lost or delayed baggage, access to 24/7 medical assistance and other benefits provided by Allianz, and cover for trip cancellations or interruptions caused by pandemics or epidemics such as coronavirus.
Premium users also have access to cover for dependents up to the age of 17, while for Metal account holders, there is extended travel liability cover and car hire excess. Revolut and Allianz Partners have the same mission: to ensure the health and wellbeing of customers when they travel, as healthcare access and costs should not be a limitation to getting the medical support they need. With this partnership, Revolut clients will receive a broader insurance plan with additional protection, together with all the great features they have come to love. Allianz Partners also recently teamed up with customer benefits specialist Collinson to provide free airport lounge access to users of its Allyz platform in the event of a flight delay.
