Neoen to Benefit in Europe for Green Energy Demand

French renewable power producer Neoen should benefit from more demand for green in Finland. Italy and France as Europe looks to become independent from Russian gas. The European Union has announced plans to expand its clean energy capacities as it looks to cut dependency on Russian gas by two-thirds this year. There will be a need to add to renewable energy quite quickly and in large volume.

Neon owns nearly 92% of our plants and operate them in our own name in the long term. As a multi-local leader, we operate in 16 countries on 4 continents. The company has a track record of landmark projects: France’s largest solar power plant in Cestas (300 MWp), the world’s first big battery (150 MW / 193,5 MWh) in Hornsdale, Australia and one of the world’s most competitive solar power plant at El Llano (Mexico, 375 MWp).
