Epsilon Remote Peering to Connect to European Hubs

Epsilon has announced a partnership with Colombian telecommunications operator InterNexa to provide remote peering for operators and businesses in South America with its Network as a Service (NaaS) platform, Infiny. Thanks to the deal, InterNexa customers in Colombia, Brazil, Peru, Argentina and Chile will have on-demand access to Internet Exchanges (IX) in Amsterdam and London. The interconnection will enable InterNexa to access LINX in London and AMS-IX in Amsterdam from Miami through Epsilon’s network, allowing it meet growing traffic demands resulting above all from online gaming and other applications such as video streaming.

Organisations across South America can now choose InterNexa to efficiently connect to European markets, said Epsilon. Specifically, InterNexa can now freely interconnect over 220 data centres with on-ramps to the major cloud service providers, IXs and other networks globally. It also has the flexibility to choose to provide its own cross connect or have Epsilon manage end-to-end for greater efficiency.
