The Egyptian Resorts Company’s board has greenlighted the establishment of a solar power plant in Sahl Hasheesh, Hurghada, a statement released on April 13th showed.
The plant will have a capacity of up to 50 megavolt amperes (MVAs) and a total of 10 million kilowatt hours (kWhs) a year.
ERC recorded consolidated net profits attributable to the parent company of EGP 113.88 million in 2022, compared to net losses of EGP 62.078 million in 2021.
